An intelligence-based operation in the Gul Imam area of Tank District resulted in the deaths of nine militants and injuries to six others, stated the ISPR.In another operation in North Waziristan District, security forces successfully neutralised 10 militants.A third encounter in Thall District saw security forces thwart an attempt to attack a security check post, killing three militants.However, six soldiers were martyred during an intense exchange of fire.Sanitisation efforts continued in these areas to eliminate any remaining militants.
