Terrorists attacked the Gomal Police Station in Tank and gunfire was exchanged for almost 15 minutes. The attackers were eventually forced to withdraw.The police later conducted a search operation in the area as well.Meanwhile in Lakki Marwat, the Counter Terrorism Department arrested three terrorists who are thought to be involved in multiple terror-related activities.CTD said that the terrorists were arrested while they were travelling to Peshawar. The arrested have been identified as Umar Zaman, Saleem Khan and Ahmed Nabi.In North Waziristan, eight people were injured when unknown people attacked the house of an Assistant Sub-inspector Ameenullah. The attack happened in Danday Syedge area and the injured were shifted to Waziristan.
