NDMA Issues Weather Advisory for Upper and Central Pakistan: Heavy Rain, Dust Storms Expected from June 20 to 23

According to the advisory, gusty winds and thunderstorms may pose risks to weaker structures, including mud walls, old trees, fragile rooftops, and billboards. The NDMA has cautioned the public to stay away from electricity poles, billboards, and weak buildings during stormy weather.

The advisory also warns of reduced visibility during storms, which may lead to traffic accidents. Citizens are advised to park vehicles under covered or safe areas and to exercise extreme caution on roads.

To ensure public safety, the NDMA has directed all relevant institutions to take proactive measures and remain on high alert in case of any emergency.
