DPM vows to actively monitor supply, regulate sugar prices

He expressed the resolve while chairing a meeting in Islamabad today (Friday) on the prevailing sugar situation in the country.

During the meeting, he reviewed compliance with the committees agreement reached earlier and expressed satisfaction with the downward trend in prices of sugar.

Ishaq Dar directed Pakistan Sugar Mills Association to ensure full compliance with the agreement for retail prices of sugar at or below 164 rupees per kilogram throughout the country.
