South star Naga Chaitanya and Shobita Dhulipala are officially engaged at his father Nagararjuna’s residence. The announcement of his son’s engagement was made by Chaitanya’s father on social media platform X. He wrote,’’ We are excited to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya to Shobhita Dhulipala, which happened this morning at 9:42 am!!. We are thrilled to welcome her into our family.’’ He also conveyed his congratulations to the newly engaged couple and wished them a lifetime of happiness.Earlier in the day, a source who is close to Chaitanya confirmed the news to the indian media,’’ Yes, Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala are getting engaged today evening. It is expected that Nagarjuna will be the first to disclose the news on social media.’’The couple has been seen together on several international trips and at several events too. The pictures shared by them usually go viral on social media. According to a source from Geetha Arts, Chaitanya’s current project Thandel has been stalled because of D-day. The ceremony took place at Nagarjuna’s home in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, as it was highly anticipated. On the work front, Dhulipala came to the limelight through a web series Made In Heaven and has also worked in many films.The dating rumours got more fuelled when both actors shared photos from a jungle safari at the same time from the same location. The couple has never accepted their relationship on record before the engagement news broke out. Both are also likely to get married later this year.
